Gaming companies in Southeast Asia have moved up in the rankings of the Fortune Southeast Asia 500 list, with a particularly strong showing from the Philippines.
Solaire operator Bloomberry Resorts Corporation has moved up 17 places list, placing 289th in the 2025 rankings.

The group notes that the increase comes ‘as revenues were lifted by the contribution of Solaire Resort North’.
The company’s latest property, located in Quezon City, opened in July of last year and ‘serves mostly local customers’. The new property also ‘expands the Solaire Resort brand’s reach to the northern part of Metro Manila as well as the provinces of Bulacan and Pampanga,’ noted the group in a release.
Included in the list of 500 companies are 40 based in the Philippines, with Bloomberry ranked 32nd amongst these due to 2024 revenue amounting to $921 million.

Malaysia’s Genting scored the highest ranking among gaming companies in this year’s list, coming in at number 53, with revenue topping $6.06 billion, up by one place compared to last year.

Alliance Global Group, operator of Newport World Resorts in the Philippines, came in at number 92 (up from 100 in 2024), with revenues topping $3.9 billion.

Cambodia’s NagaCorp also rose in the 2025 rankings, reaching 418th, up from 449 in 2024, with annual revenue of $562.5 million, up by 5.5 percent yearly.

The Philippines’ DigiPlus Interactive saw the largest jump up the rankings, rising from 482nd in 2024 to 223rd in 2025, as revenues rose by nearly 168 percent, to $1.31 billion.
This is the second year that Fortune publishes its Southeast Asia 500 ranking, evaluating companies from seven countries: Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, the Philippines and Cambodia.
