Dowinn Group, a leading junket operator in the Philippines, officially confirmed the postponement of its reopening until July 19th via a statement sent to AGB.
The notification arrived one day after the company failed to resume its operations as promised, for the afternoon of June 24th.
Dowinn stated that the extension of the temporary cessation of its operations is ‘a critical step to allow additional time for securing necessary funding and ensuring a smooth and efficient resumption of operations across all affected branches.’
Jason Lee, Marketing Manager of the company, said that they are “taking all necessary measures to ensure that our operations restart seamlessly and efficiently.”
“We deeply regret any inconvenience this extension may cause to our valued clients and partners,” he added. “This additional time is essential for us to finalize the funding arrangements and prepare our facilities and teams to resume operations at the highest possible standards.”
At the same time, the junket operator emphasized its dedication to ‘maintaining transparency’ and ‘open communication’ during this period.
‘Regular updates will be provided to keep all stakeholders informed about the progress and any developments related to the resumption of services,’ reads a statement.
According to a previous report from AGB, Dowinn ceased operations on the evening of June 17th, 2024, at casinos such as Solaire, Okada Manila, City of Dreams Manila, Clark D’Heights Resort & Casino, and Royce Hotel & Casino.
