Various systems at MGM Resorts in Las Vegas have suffered a shutdown due to a cyberattack. This includes slot machines and its online room booking system.

According to the report, the cybersecurity issue might also affect the hotel’s digital keys. The gaming operator has stated that it has begun an investigation “with assistance from leading external cybersecurity experts.”

However, MGM Resorts confirmed that the resort’s dining, entertainment, and gaming are still operational.

The report also mentioned that the firm was a victim of a cyberattack in 2019, when hackers stole more than 10 million customer records.
