South Korea’s Paradise Co. gaming revenue was down 17.3% m-o-m in October

South Korean foreigner-only casino operator, Paradise Co., reported a 17.3 percent decline in casino gaming revenue on a month-on-month basis in October, amounting to KRW 61.01 billion ($45.8 million).

However, on a year-on-year basis, the revenue for October 2023 saw an increase of 31.2 percent. Both table gaming and slot revenues showed a decline on a month-on-month basis.

According to the company’s latest update, table gaming revenues fell by 17.5 percent monthly, dropping from KRW69.37 billion ($52.1 million) to KRW57.20 billion ($42.9 million). This figure represented a 32.7 percent increase from the previous year.

Gaming revenue generated from slots also decreased by 13.3 percent monthly, falling from KRW4.39 billion ($3.3 million) to KRW3.81 billion ($2.86 million). Nevertheless, it marked a 12 percent increase from the previous year.

Paradise Co. operates foreigner-only casinos, including Walker-Hill, Jeju, Incheon Paradise City, and Busan Casino.
