Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) has reopened the former Genting Hotel Jurong as a 557-room Four Points by Sheraton property, extending its hospitality portfolio beyond its Sentosa integrated resort under a global Marriott International brand.
Four Points by Sheraton Singapore, Jurong opened on July 22nd following the refurbishment and rebranding of the 15-story hotel in Singapore’s Jurong Lake District, RWS said in a release.
The property first opened as Genting Hotel Jurong in 2015. It began receiving guests in April of that year before holding its official opening in May, becoming the first major hotel in the Jurong Lake District.
RWS and Marriott announced the conversion agreement in October 2025, initially targeting an early 2026 opening. RWS said at the time that adopting the Four Points by Sheraton brand would strengthen the property’s market positioning and improve its appeal to business and leisure travelers. The agreement also expanded an existing partnership between the companies, which includes The Laurus, a Luxury Collection Resort at RWS.
Located along Jurong Town Hall Road, the off-site hotel is close to Jurong East’s transport hub, the International Business Park and several shopping centers. Guests are offered complimentary shuttle services between the property and Resorts World Sentosa.
The hotel retains the same number of rooms as its predecessor but has updated guestrooms, roof gardens and sky terraces. It also offers 850 square meters of event space, up from the 720 square meters outlined when the conversion was announced.
The meeting facilities include the 426-square-meter Genting Ballroom, which can be divided into three sections and accommodate up to 330 guests for seated dining. The property also has five meeting rooms, a rooftop event area, an outdoor swimming pool, a 24-hour fitness center and an all-day dining restaurant.
RWS Senior Vice President of Hospitality Andreas Oliver Reich said the hotel was designed to serve business and leisure demand as the Jurong Lake District develops into Singapore’s second central business district.
The hotel joins six properties located within RWS, bringing the operator’s combined portfolio to more than 1,900 rooms, suites and villas. RWS, which includes Resorts World Casino, is wholly owned by Genting Singapore.
