Asia Pioneer Entertainment‘s revenue has improved some 185 percent year-on-year for 2023 to HK$27.4 million ($3.5 million), mainly due to an improvement in electronic gaming equipment (EGE) sales.

Breaking down the figures by division, APE witnessed significant revenue spikes across various sectors. The company focuses mainly on the supply of EGEs to casinos in Macau and Asia, and of smart vending machines in Macau and the Greater Bay Area.

Revenue generated from the technical sales and distribution of EGE soared to approximately HK$14 million ($1.7 million) for the year, reflecting a remarkable surge of approximately 130 percent year-on-year.

Similarly, revenue from consultancy and technical services witnessed a considerable rise, reaching approximately HK$11.8 million ($1.5 million) for the year.

The repair services division also experienced substantial growth, with revenue climbing to approximately HK$1.6 million ($204.519) for the year, marking an increase of approximately 236 percent year-on-year.

Net loss after tax reached approximately HK$1.9 million ($242.866) in 2023 as compared to a net loss after tax of approximately HK$14.7 million ($1.8 million) in the previous year, mainly due to a sharp increase in the group’s gross profit and a general decrease in operating expenses.
