Ciarán Carruthers, who has just resigned as COO of Wynn Macau, will be replacing Crown Resorts’ Steve McCann gone two weeks after the takeover from private equity firm Blackstone.
Mr. McCann will be replaced by Ciarán Carruthers, who has just resigned as chief operating officer of the Wynn Macau casino.
Wynn Macau lost the Chief Operating Officer, industry veteran Ciarán Carruthers, on the same that president Ian Coughlan announced his plans to step down from his executive position and become a consultant to the company.
In a brief statement to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, the company confirmed that Carruthers will be leaving prior to the departure of President Ian Michael Coughlan.
Chief Operating Officer Ciarán Pearse Carruthers will be leaving his role on the 30th of September.
Carruthers confirmed that he has no disagreement with the Board and there is no matter relating to his departure as Wynn Macau COO that needs to be brought to attention.
Wynn Macau President Ian Coughlan announced his plans to step down from his executive position and will become a consultant to the company, when his contract expires in February 2023.
Carruthers is set to move into the chief executive role at Australian Casino Crown Resorts. The move comes as Crown announced the exit of Steve McCann, only two weeks after the takeover of US private equity firm Blackstone.
