Aristocrat Leisure Ltd has announced the appointment of Matthew Primmer as Chief Product Officer, in a move described as part of the company’s strategic efforts to bolster its leadership team.
Effective February 28, Primmer will report directly to Aristocrat’s CEO and Managing Director, Trevor Croker
‘With over two decades of experience in the global gaming industry, Mr. Primmer brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new role. He has spent ten years at Aristocrat, holding various senior positions in product strategy, insights, and leadership roles in both Australia and the United States,’ the company indicated in an announcement
‘Notably, Mr. Primmer has served as Chief Product Officer at Aristocrat Gaming for the past four years, overseeing Design & Development (D&D) in the company’s largest operating business.
Primmer has previously worked in Ainsworth Game Technology and Shuffle Master, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Wollongong.
Croker highlighted the significance of Mr. Primmer’s appointment in bringing additional gaming experience to the executive team, emphasizing that in his new role, Primmer would play a ‘crucial role in maintaining an enterprise view of product strategy as the company expands its product verticals’.
‘Additionally, Mr. Primmer will be instrumental in ensuring the optimal allocation of D&D investment, aligning with Aristocrat’s growth objectives,’ Croker noted.
