Macau’s Financial Intelligence Office received 694 suspicious transaction reports in Q1, up 7.9 percent in the same period last year.

The increase was mainly due to more reports in the “other institutions” category. Suspicious reports in the gaming industry rose by six to 362, accounting for 55 percent of the total.
