Genesis Global has its Malta license canceled

Online gambling operator Genesis Global has had its Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) B2C license canceled with immediate effect. The move was announced by the regulator on its website and follows the suspension of the company’s license in January of last year. It means the operator can no longer offer any gambling activity under this license.

The cancellation means all 23 websites operated by the company under its Malta license now have to remain offline. These include spinit.com, casinocruise.com, casinoplanet.com and playerz.com. The regulator has also ordered Genesis to settle all outstanding fees to the MGA within seven days.

On top of that, the company has to confirm to the MGA that all player funds held across its network must be returned within seven days if the notice of cancellation, and it must not make any reference to its Malta license on any of its websites from now on.
