Queensland’s November gaming tally up 7 percent yearly

November gaming results in the Australian state of Queensland came in up by 7 percent yearly, but down marginally by 0.8 percent monthly, according to data from Wohlsen Consulting.

The group notes that ‘November is always down on October. With one less trading day, on average November is consistently down on October by 3-5 percent every year’.

The Cup Carnival can take some investment away from machines but it can also drive activity in venues.

November traded with four Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

In the most recent monthly report, Wohlsen notes, regional centers have experienced some very strong results from relatively low bases.

The hotel sector market share continues to grow, increasing from 57.3 percent in October to 57.8 percent in November.
