São Paulo court rules in favor of Aviator Studio in legal dispute

Aviator Studio has secured another legal victory in Brazil after São Paulo courts rejected additional injunction requests filed by SPRIBE in proceedings involving Aviator Studio directly.

Importantly, the latest rulings concern the direct legal dispute between Aviator Studio and SPRIBE itself, separate from the previously reported proceedings involving Foggo Entertainment and Betnacional.

Having already confirmed consecutive victories in Brazil connected to Foggo Entertainment, Aviator Studio has now confirmed that courts in São Paulo also ruled in its favour across both judicial instances of the proceedings.

In each case, the courts refused to grant the urgent measures sought by SPRIBE. As a result, Aviator Studio and its partners can continue operating while the broader AVIATOR trademark dispute progresses through the evidentiary phase.

The decisions add to a growing series of courtroom setbacks for SPRIBE in Brazil and further strengthen Aviator Studio’s legal position in the connected proceedings tied to the AVIATOR dispute as related proceedings continue across multiple jurisdictions.

Representatives from Aviator Studio said that these outcomes continue to confirm a clear judicial pattern. Attempts to obtain urgent injunctions against Aviator Studio and its partners in Brazil are consistently being rejected by the courts.

BETBY taps Vibra Gaming to support LatAm strategic growth

Leading B2B sportsbook supplier BETBY has announced a new strategic partnership with Vibra Gaming, the go-to games and platform developer for LatAm operators, deploying its full sportsbook solution to accelerate expansion across the region.

Through this collaboration, Vibra Gaming will integrate BETBY’s complete sportsbook offering covering more than 500,000 monthly events, including its advanced AI-powered tools, AI Labs, and proprietary esports feed, Betby.Games.

Delivered via a single, seamless API integration, the solution enables Vibra Gaming to incorporate a fully scalable sportsbook directly into its platform, allowing its operator partners to roll out sports betting efficiently while reducing technical complexity and accelerating time-to-market.

The integration addresses key challenges associated with launching a sportsbook, particularly the technical demands and resource requirements involved. By leveraging BETBY’s solution, Vibra Gaming can extend its platform capabilities without adding significant development overhead, while enabling its partners to introduce sports betting as part of a broader, multi-vertical offering.

A key component of the agreement is the inclusion of Betby.Games, BETBY’s award-winning esports feed, which aligns closely with Vibra Gaming’s localized approach. The portfolio features hyper-localized, industry-first titles such as eVaquejada and eFootVolley, designed specifically to resonate with Latin American audiences, further strengthening engagement across the region.

Commenting on the strategic partnership, Stefanos Karakidis, Business Development Director at BETBY, said: “This collaboration is a natural fit for both sides. Vibra Gaming has built a platform that reflects the expectations of Latin American operators and that creates the ideal environment for our sportsbook to deliver value. Besides that, what makes this collaboration particularly strong is how seamlessly our solution integrates into Vibra’s ecosystem, enabling their casino operator partners to expand into sports betting in a fast, efficient, and scalable way.”

The partnership comes as BETBY continues to reinforce its position in Latin America, a strategic market where the provider has been actively investing and expanding its footprint. With operational licenses in Brazil and Peru, and a growing network of regional partners, this collaboration marks an important step in the long-term growth strategy across LatAm.

Werter Luna, CEO at Vibra Gaming, shared: “At Vibra Gaming, our priority is to provide our partners with flexible, locally relevant solutions that help them grow. Integrating BETBY’s sportsbook allows us to expand our platform with a best-in-class sports betting offering that matches our standards in terms of performance and adaptability. We’re particularly excited about the potential of combining their technology and esports content with our localized approach to further enhance the player experience across Latin America.”

Altenar partners with DigiPlus to power ArenaPlus sportsbook in the Philippines

Altenar has been selected to power ArenaPlus, the sports betting platform operated by DigiPlus Interactive Corp. in the Philippines, marking its entry into the country’s regulated market following the partnership announcement on May 21, 2026.

Under the deal, ArenaPlus, described as the leading PAGCOR-licensed online sportsbook in the Philippines, is transitioning its sportsbook operations to Altenar’s fully managed solution. The platform offers customized betting options for localization, in-play and live betting, risk management tools, and compliance controls tailored to a mobile-first market.

Altenar’s in-house statistical model and automated pricing tools will provide a player props portfolio for Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) games, with faster odds updates intended to expand the range of betting options available to users.

According to Dinos Stranomitis, Chief Operating Officer at Altenar, the agreement represents a step into a growing regulated market. “Partnering with DigiPlus to power ArenaPlus marks a key step in our entry into the Philippines, a highly engaged and rapidly growing regulated market. Our fully managed, localised sportsbook delivers the performance, stability, and compliance required in this market,” he said.

Erick Su, Head of ArenaPlus, said the partnership aligns with the operator’s growth strategy. “Altenar provides the technical strength and reliability needed to elevate the ArenaPlus sportsbook experience. Their fully-managed solution aligns with our strategy for continued growth in the Philippines, particularly amid the rising demand for live and in-play sports betting,” he stated.

Further strengthening its regulatory trajectory, DigiPlus last month announced the official integration of its flagship sportsbook, ArenaPlus, into the Sportradar Integrity Exchange (SIE), a global monitoring network dedicated to detecting and preventing match-fixing. The SIE operates as a collaborative data-sharing platform, enabling betting operators to report and receive real-time alerts on irregular wagering patterns.

Pragmatic Play releases Big Dog House with colossal wilds feature

Pragmatic Play has unleashed everyone’s favourite canine crew in The Big Dog House, expanding the popular series with colossal wilds and 15,000x win potential.

Landing three paw scatters triggers the bonus game, where nine spinning barrels award up to 27 free spins. During the feature, all wild multipliers are sticky except for ghost wilds, which can hit on reel five and remove sticky wilds from reels 2-4.

Activating the bonus game with a green or blue paw scatter can unlock unique bonus modifiers. The Biggie modifier guarantees all wilds that hit on reels 2-4 are either expanded or colossal, while the Ghost Out modifier removes ghost wilds from the feature, leaving only sticky wilds in play.

DATA.BET reports 168% growth in turnover across virtual football content

DATA.BET has shared the performance data from its virtual content, with the company reporting a measurable year-over-year rise across key benchmarks for its virtual football portfolio.

Events run continuously, 24 hours a day, with no dependency on real-world fixture schedules. Content is delivered through bot-vs-bot matches that run automatically without player involvement.

Between Q1 2025 and Q1 2026, DATA.BET’s virtual content accounted for 39% of total virtual sports turnover and 45% of profits, recording growth across core commercial metrics:

  • +299% active users
  • +129% across clients GGR
  • +246% events per quarter
  • +218% bets placed

Beyond the numbers, it directly addresses key operators’ challenges by filling gaps in content quantity and quality during low-season periods, reducing day-to-day operational responsibilities, and maintaining reliable data flow across all touchpoints.

The audience profile overlaps closely with live football bettors, supporting natural retention during summer breaks. Powered by algorithms, it carries no fraud exposure, operates with stable margins, and supports In-Stream Betting overlay with near-zero latency between broadcast and market updates.

“Over the past year, our bot-vs-bot virtual content has delivered consistent, measurable results across every operator deployment. Building e-Football in-house gives us the flexibility to configure it to what each operator actually needs — whether that is a specific league structure, a particular mix of bot and player content, or a branded competition format,” mentioned Rostyslav Likhtin, Head of Product at DATA.BET.

Groove secures Best Aggregator shortlist at SiGMA Asia Awards 2026

Leading platform and aggregator Groove has been named a finalist for Best Aggregator 2026 at the prestigious SiGMA Asia Awards, one of the industry’s highest honours.

The nomination arrives at a pivotal moment for Groove. Throughout 2025, the company has delivered a masterclass in strategic expansion, strengthening its core aggregation, making decisive moves into high-potential verticals like sweepstakes and crypto, and planting its flag in crucial new territories across Asia.

With over 15,000 games from more than 150 providers unified through a single, powerful API, Groove has evolved from content provider to comprehensive growth engine.

As part of its participation in SiGMA Asia 2026, Groove—the leading platform and aggregator—will be represented by CEO Yahale Meltzer and Business Development Director Giusy Campo on a regulatory panel titled “Jurisdiction Jungle: Who Rules Asia’s iGaming Empire?”, which will move beyond marketing hype to examine the structural resilience of Asian licensing regimes under real-world enforcement, cross-border scrutiny, banking pressure, and rising compliance demands.

The SiGMA Asia Awards ceremony will take place on 2 June 2026 at the SMX Convention Centre Manila, during the SiGMA Asia Summit. The winners are determined by a panel of senior industry executives and independently adjudicated by KPMG US, ensuring the process remains transparent and rigorous.

Giusy Campo, Business Development Director at Groove, who joined the company last year to lead its charge into new regulated markets, said: “This shortlist is external recognition of a truth we already feel internally: Groove is moving at a different pace. Asia is not a single market; it is a collection of distinct regulatory environments, player behaviours, and partnership opportunities.”

“Our platform is built to respect that complexity, not smooth it over. Being named a finalist for Best Aggregator tells us that our approach, deep integration, localised content strategies, and commercial precision, is resonating with the operators who matter most in this region. We are not just bringing games to Asia. We are bringing a roadmap for sustainable growth,” she added.

Built for operators who demand flexibility, speed, and performance, Groove combines deep technical integration with a curated portfolio of world-class games.

Yahale Meltzer, Co-Founder and CEO of Groove, shared: “The aggregation space is crowded. Differentiation is everything. This nomination confirms that our vision, transforming aggregation from a commodity into a strategic growth discipline, is taking hold.”

Meltzer concluded: “Operators across Asia are no longer asking for just volume or speed. They are asking for structural resilience, data intelligence, and a partner who can execute across fragmented regulatory landscapes with precision. Groove delivers that. To be recognised alongside the best in Asia is a privilege, but the real work continues in Manila and beyond. We are here to win, not just awards, but the trust of the operators who build their businesses on our platform.”
