Bulgarian casino equipment supplier Euro Games Technology (EGT) has secured a Gaming Related Vendor License in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), allowing it to supply land-based gaming products to licensed operators in the country.

The approval was granted by the UAE’s General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA), according to an EGT announcement issued Wednesday.

“The UAE represents one of the most closely watched emerging gaming jurisdictions worldwide,” said Nadia Popova, EGT’s chief revenue officer and vice president of sales and marketing.

Popova said the license would allow the company to participate in a market with significant long-term potential. EGT’s products are installed in more than 100 countries.

The company joins a growing group of suppliers authorized to serve the UAE market. The GCGRA’s licensee list includes Aristocrat, International Game Technology, Light & Wonder, Novomatic, Konami and Scientific Games.

Wynn Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah remains the UAE’s only licensed land-based gaming facility. Wynn Resorts expects the property to open in September 2027.
