Paradise Hotel Busan has announced it is trialing an ‘AI Serving Robot’ to expand its non-face to face services to its food and beverage establishments.
The robot is developed by KT AI Robot Business Group, and is equipped with 3D spatial mapping technology and autonomous driving.
The robot will be trialed during operating hours at the ‘Nix Grill’ for a period of three months.
The new robot follows a stream of automated and “touchless” technology rolling out in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. It follows a self check in kiosk system which was introduced by the operator in October last year.
