Hong Kong-listed Landing International has been given the official go-ahead to transfer its casino license from an existing hotel to its new property on Jeju Island, South Korea.
The casino will now be in Jeju Dream Tower, which is the tallest building on the island. Jeju is a popular destination for Korean honeymooners, but has been ravaged by Covid travel restrictions.
The company will need to implement a local community contribution plan, which mandates 80 percent local employment.
