Paradise Group sees 16% yoy growth in casino revenue

South Korean foreigner-only casino operator Paradise Group has recorded a 16.1 percent yearly and monthly increase in casino revenue in June, at nearly KRW16.05 billion ($14.2 million).

In results published on Friday, the group indicated that table results were up by 15.2 percent yearly, to KRW13.88 billion.

Slot revenues during the month also increased, up by 26.8 percent year-on-year, to nearly KRW2.15 billion.

During the first half of the year the group made some KRW112.72 billion in casino revenue, a 45 percent drop year-on-year, largely due to the KRW154.25 billion made in the first quarter of 2020.

Table drop registered in the group’s casinos also also increased, to RW194.77 billion, a yearly rise of 63.2 percent.

The group currently operates casinos in its properties in Seoul – Paradise Walkerhill, Jeju Island – Jeju Grand, Incheon – Paradise City and Busan – Busan Casino.
