Marina Bay Sands said it was holding a two-day recruitment drive to hire 2,000 people as Singapore rebounds following the pandemic.
The resort, a unit of Las Vegas Sands, said it was the first in-person fair since prior to Covid.
More than 15 hiring departments, including Food & Beverage and its Banquets and Nightlife divisions, Hotel Operations, Casino Operations, Mall Management, Museum, Facilities, Public Area Maintenance, and Security Service will be participating.
Chan Yit Foon, Senior Vice President, Human Resources, Marina Bay Sands, said, “As a long-term employer, Marina Bay Sands continues to invest not only in our infrastructure but also in building a sustainable workforce for the future.”
The fair will be held on May 30th and 31st.
Marina Bay Sands also announced that it has won five awards at the Singapore Tourism Awards. They include three special recognition accolades – ‘Most Exemplary Employer’, ‘Special Award for Community Care’ and ‘Special Award for Sustainability.
Singapore removed all remaining restrictions for vaccinated travelers from April, becoming one of the most open destinations in Asia.
On a recent call with analysts, Las Vegas Sands CEO Rob Goldstein said Marina Bay Sands was experiencing strong pent-up demand across all of its business segments.
Singapore is back, he said.
