Las Vegas Sands’ Marina Bay Sands resort in Singapore said it plans to hold its first Virtual Career Fair to fill more than 1,000 positions at the integrated resort.
The jobs are in departments such as food & beverage, hotel operations, facilities and security services, it said in a post on its Facebook page.
The fair runs from Dec. 6th to 8th.
Marina Bay Sands, one of two integrated resorts in Singapore said late last month that it has seen an overall increase in bookings from overseas travellers coming through the Vaccinated Travel Lanes (VTL) program, in particular from Australia, which has been the target of promotion packages.
The resort has been investing in revamping its facilities during Covid.
Since June last year, the resort’s retail complex, The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, has seen the entrance of 20 new retailers, including the world’s first Apple store to sit on water.
The Shoppes was also chosen by Florentine luxury brand Pineider 1774 for its Asian debut, while Italian linen maker Frette will also be opening its first stand-alone store in Singapore.
Dining options include the debut of Wakuda Singapore in early 2022, the second restaurant at the resort of Chef Tetsuya, while the ArtScience Museum launched a permanent virtual reality gallery in early July.
