Solaire operator Bloomberry Resorts Corp is planning to launch its new online gaming platform as soon as the end of May or early June.
In a stockholders meeting on Thursday, the company’s Chairman and CEO Enrique Razon Jr indicated that the online business “is now undergoing extensive testing”.
The group hopes to tap into the new segment which has seen explosive growth recently by launching the new online platform.
Razon indicated that the expansion into the online space is aimed at the “long-term success of our business”, aiming to “further increase our presence in the mass market”.
The new product is expected to “complement Solaire Online and is anticipated to bring our brand of online gaming entertainment to Filipinos nationwide”.
Solaire Online was launched in April of 2021, offering live baccarat, sicbo and roulette games and live slots.
Bloomberry will face steep competition in the eGames sector however, with giants such as DigiPlus already having a healthy presence in the market.
