MGM supports MGTO at the “Experience Macao” Madrid roadshow

MGM has supported the Macao SAR Government’s push to strengthen engagement with Portuguese‑ and Spanish‑speaking countries by participating in MGTO’s “Experience Macao” roadshow at Madrid’s Puente del Rey from April 17–21.

At its dedicated booth, MGM used an “M-shaped” four-fold LED display powered by cutting-edge naked-eye 3D technology to bring Macau’s vibrant cultural and tourism experiences to life. The Company also presented its original production “Lion Dance | Robots”, inspired by Lingnan lion dance traditions and reimagined with street dance and robotic performance. The show reflected Macau’s dynamic fusion of culture, tourism, and technology, highlighting the city’s evolving creative identity.

The booth’s innovative display broke beyond the limits of conventional flat screens, opening up a multidimensional viewing experience. Through advanced visual technology, the display seamlessly blended art and innovation, vividly recreating treasured artifacts from the “Silk Roads Beyond Borders” exhibition at the POLY MGM MUSEUM, including iconic works such as the Blue-and-White Moon Flask with Strap Handles and the Dragon-Patterned Throne Carpet.

Highlights from MGM’s resident show Macau 2049 also came to life on screen, including the “Khoomei: Ethereal” segment, which merges intangible cultural heritage with modern technology.

Visitors could also take part in an on-site lucky draw for a chance to win nearly 7,000 exclusive prizes, including MGM’s Leo plush blind box, discount coupons and souvenirs from Macau 2049, and gifts from the POLY MGM MUSEUM.

MGM also introduced its premium hospitality, dining, and entertainment offerings to European visitors, alongside a selection of roadshow-exclusive travel packages. These include hotel and dining bundles, as well as curated city tour experiences, designed to engage travelers to discover Macau’s dynamic cultural tourism landscape.
