Galaxy Entertainment Group officially opened its new Capella hotel, aimed only at VIPs, on Tuesday.
The property has been open since May of last year, but the 95 suite and penthouse hotel held its official debut with top executives including Galaxy Chairman Francis Lui, COO Kevin Kelley and the Capella Hotel Group Head of China Mei Ping.
Speaking of the new property, GEG Chairman Francis Lui noted that “Capella at Galaxy Macau’s architecture, service, gastronomy, and residential privacy create a singular experience for our top percentile of VIP guests, one that sets a new reference point for hospitality in Macau and globally”.
Kevin Kelley noted at the launch that Capella “showcases a new expression of our signature and ever-evolving ‘World Class Asian Heart’ service”.
SVP of Operations for Capella Hotel Group Clive Edwards highlighted that the property is “an intimate, residential retreat within an integrated resort context”.
Officially opening ahead of Chinese New Year, Galaxy aims to lure more top-tier customers during the holiday period with its latest offering.
