Macau-based gaming equipment supplier Asia Pioneer Entertainment Holdings Limited (APE) expects first-half turnover to rise 47.3 percent year-on-year to approximately HK$34 million ($4.4 million), supported by growth in its core electronic gaming equipment business.

The Hong Kong-listed company forecasts total comprehensive income after tax of between HK$2.2 million ($282,000) and HK$2.3 million ($295,000) for the six months ended June 30th, 2026.

The forecast represents an increase of nearly 90-fold from HK$24,959 ($3,200) in the same period of 2025, according to a company press release issued on Monday.

The scale of the increase partly reflects the low comparison base, with the company reporting comprehensive income close to breakeven in the prior-year period.

APE attributed the improvement in turnover and income mainly to its technical sales and distribution of electronic gaming equipment. Revenue from the segment increased by approximately 56.2 percent year-on-year during the period.

The estimates are based on a preliminary review of APE’s unaudited consolidated management accounts and remain subject to finalization.

The supplier also launched playing-card manufacturing venture BEE Macau and began rolling out cash-conversion technology solutions during the first half.

“While these new ventures are in their early stages and have not yet contributed directly to H1 revenue, they lay a solid foundation for future top-line growth,” APE chief financial officer Tony Chan said.

The company supplies electronic gaming equipment, technical services and related products to integrated resorts in Macau and other Asia-Pacific markets.

APE expects to publish its interim results by the end of August.
