The Macau government expects 40,000 visitors daily during the Chinese New Year golden week.

Speaking to Chinese Radio Ou Mun Tin Toi, quoted by Radio Macau, the director of the MGTO announced that she’s planing a number of large-scale events, such as the Chinese New Year Parade and a fireworks show.

Helena Senna Fernandes noted that the city health authorities will not falter in their pandemic prevention measures.

Chinese New Year falls from the 1st to February to the 3rd of February this year.

The Macau Government Tourism director also added that a new round of local’s activities will be launched later this month, including staycations.
