Macau GGR trending 13% higher post Golden Week: Bernstein

Macau’s gross gambling revenue appears to be trending about 13 percent higher than during the Golden Week holiday period as visitation continues to improve, according to channel checks by Bernstein Research.

The firm said GGR from Nov. 1-8 was about MOP2 billion ($250 million), with an average daily rate that was about 67 percent below the prior year. However, it was up 13 percent compared with the three-week period after Golden Week.
