Want the best online casinos in Vietnam in one place? This page brings together the top sites and the biggest names in Vietnamese gaming, so you can compare real money games, jackpot draws, payment options and resort casino floors before you decide where to play.
Vietnam has one of the liveliest gaming scenes in Southeast Asia. Players across the country chase the Mega 6/45 and Power 6/55 jackpots every week, football nights draw huge crowds around the Premier League and the national team, and the island resort casinos on Phu Quoc and the coast near Ho Chi Minh City offer baccarat, roulette and slots around the clock. Below you will find our top picks, reviews of the leading brands, and a closer look at Vietlott games, football markets and the best casinos to visit.
How We Rank the Best Online Casinos in Vietnam
Every brand on this page must be usable by players in Vietnam on a lawful footing. After that, we compare them on these points.
- Operating under Vietnamese law: each brand we profile runs under a Vietnamese decree, resolution or Ministry of Finance rule, whether it is the national computerised lottery or a resort casino.
- Range of games: jackpot draws, quick draw games, table games and slots, and how many of them a player can actually reach.
- Dong-based banking: buying tickets, chips or entry passes in VND, plus the e-wallets and bank options that people in Vietnam use every day.
- Player protection: entry checks, age rules, self-exclusion and the information each operator gives its customers.
Best Vietnam Casino and Lottery Brands: Our Reviews
Three names stand out for players in Vietnam right now: the national computerised lottery and the two resort casinos that admit eligible Vietnamese guests. Each review ends with a facts table and the date we last checked it.
Vietlott
Computerised lottery
Vietlott is Vietnam’s computerised lottery, run by the state owned Vietnam Computerised Lottery One Member Limited Liability Company. Mega 6/45 was its first game, and the brand now sells through terminals at agents nationwide.
The game menu is broad. Mega 6/45 and Power 6/55 are the headline jackpot draws, Lotto 5/35 adds two draws a day, Max 3D, Max 3D+ and Max 3D Pro are three digit number games, and Keno and Bingo18 are quick draw games with rounds running through the day. Most games cost VND 10,000 per entry, so a single line is cheap and players often buy several.
Besides the terminals, Vietlott sells through Vietlott SMS, its official agent for buying tickets by phone. Players with a MobiFone, VinaPhone or Viettel number can register, link an e-wallet such as MoMo and buy tickets for the main draws without visiting an agent.
Pros
- Jackpot, daily and quick draw games under one brand
- Entries from VND 10,000
- Tickets by phone through Vietlott SMS
Cons
- Phone purchases work only inside Vietnam
- MoMo adds a 3% processing fee per ticket bought through Vietlott SMS

Corona Resort & Casino Phu Quoc
Resort casino

Our screenshots of casinocorona.vn, taken in Southeast Asia on 22 October 2026.
Corona Resort & Casino sits in the Bai Dai area on the north of Phu Quoc island, now part of An Giang Province. It was the first casino in Vietnam to admit Vietnamese citizens, under a pilot that began in January 2019. After a pause from 1 January 2025, it welcomed Vietnamese guests back on 26 November 2025, when the government issued Resolution 08/2025/NQ-CP. Unlike the newer pilots, the resolution sets no five year term for Phu Quoc.
The gaming floor is large by regional standards. Its own site lists more than 140 live tables, over 150 electronic tables and more than 700 slot machines. The game list runs from baccarat, Tiger Baccarat and Dragon Tiger to blackjack, Texas Hold’em, Three Card Poker, Russian Poker, Caribbean Stud, Niu Niu, sic bo and roulette. The wider complex has more than 3,000 hotel rooms and villas next to Grand World and VinWonders.
Entry for Vietnamese guests is tightly controlled. Players must be 21 or older, register with a passport or citizen ID card, show documents proving a regular income of at least VND 10 million a month (or personal income tax at bracket three or higher) and buy an entry ticket. Foreign guests register with a valid passport and need no ticket.
Pros
- One of the largest casino floors in Vietnam
- Wide table game mix, from baccarat to Niu Niu
- Open to eligible Vietnamese guests with no end date set
Cons
- Vietnamese guests must prove income and buy an entry ticket
- On-site play only, with no online casino

The Grand Ho Tram
Resort casino

Our screenshots of thegrandhotram.com, taken in Southeast Asia on 22 October 2026.
The Grand Ho Tram is a beachfront integrated resort in Ho Tram Commune, about two hours by road from central Ho Chi Minh City. It calls itself Vietnam’s first international integrated resort and casino, and for most of its history its gaming floor served foreign passport holders only.
That changed when Resolution 08/2025/NQ-CP added Ho Tram to the programme for eligible Vietnamese citizens, with a five year pilot from 26 November 2025. The resort began welcoming Vietnamese guests on 5 January 2026, and trade press reported that betting on the floor moved to Vietnamese dong at the same time.
The casino is open 24 hours a day and covers more than 5,000 square metres, split between a mass gaming area and a VIP area, with around 90 live tables and over 500 electronic gaming machines. Hotels on the strip include the InterContinental Grand Ho Tram, and the resort describes a responsible gaming framework that includes on-site information centres and voluntary self-exclusion.
Pros
- Short drive from Ho Chi Minh City, with a free shuttle bus
- Around 90 tables and 500+ gaming machines
- Betting in Vietnamese dong
Cons
- Vietnamese access runs as a five year pilot
- Same income and ticket conditions as other casinos

Vietlott Online Lottery Vietnam: Mega 6/45, Power 6/55 and More
For most people in Vietnam, the quickest route to a big real money win is a Vietlott ticket. Results are published after every draw and picked up by the national press, and a rolling jackpot can become front page news within days.
Mega 6/45
Players choose six numbers from 1 to 45, and matching all six wins the jackpot, which starts at VND 12 billion and rolls over until someone hits it. Draws take place on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday evenings.
Power 6/55
Power 6/55 widens the pool to 55 numbers and adds a second top prize. Matching all six main numbers wins Jackpot 1, which starts at VND 30 billion, while five main numbers plus the special number wins Jackpot 2, which starts at VND 3 billion. Both jackpots roll over, and when several tickets share a top prize it is split between them. Draws are held on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday evenings.
Lotto 5/35
Lotto 5/35, the newest jackpot game, asks players to pick five main numbers from 1 to 35 and one special number from 1 to 12. It draws twice a day, at 13:00 and 21:00, with a jackpot that starts at VND 6 billion. It was the first Vietnamese lottery game to share the jackpot between all winning tickets in a draw.
Max 3D, Keno and Bingo18
The Max 3D family is built around three digit numbers, with smaller prizes that land more often than a jackpot. Max 3D+ gives two sets of numbers for one VND 10,000 entry, and Max 3D Pro draws six days a week. Keno and Bingo18 are the fast games in the range, with many draws a day.
Traditional State Lottery
Alongside Vietlott, Vietnam has the older xổ số kiến thiết, the paper ticket lottery run by state lottery companies in the provinces. Tickets are sold by street vendors and agents across the country, and draws are held every day for the northern, central and southern regions. Sales to anyone under 18 are banned, and from 30 November 2026 Decree 389/2026/ND-CP fines sellers who break this rule.
Best Vietnam Betting on Football: Markets and Pilot Status
Football is the sport that unites Vietnamese fans. The national team’s runs in the ASEAN Championship fill the streets with flags, the domestic V.League 1 has loyal city followings, and the English Premier League is followed closely, with many matches kicking off late at night Vietnam time.
Vietnam Football Betting Under Decree 06/2017
Sports betting in Vietnam is governed by Decree 06/2017/ND-CP, which took effect on 31 March 2017. It allows three types of betting: horse racing, greyhound racing and international football. Football betting is set up as a five year pilot for a single company chosen by tender, on international matches only. Players must be at least 21 and have full legal capacity, and stakes run from VND 10,000 per bet up to VND 1 million per day for each type of bet.
The football pilot has never launched. In May 2020 the Ministry of Finance said it had not issued a betting certificate to any company, as the tender could not go ahead under the bidding law. A draft replacement decree reported in January 2026 would allow up to three companies, each with charter capital of at least VND 2,000 billion and a five year pilot. At our last check we could find no record that the new decree had been issued or that any company had started taking bets.
Racing betting has not started either. No racecourse has opened for betting under the decree, although a horse racing complex in Soc Son, Hanoi, has investment approval.
Football Betting Sites Vietnam: Offshore Brands
International betting websites are not licensed in Vietnam, and Decree 06/2017 does not cover online betting.
Online Casino Vietnam: Real Money Casino Games
Real money casino play in Vietnam happens on resort gaming floors.
Baccarat, the Top Table Game
Baccarat is the game that drives Vietnamese casino floors, just as it does in Macau and across the region. Players back the banker hand, the player hand or a tie, and the cards follow fixed drawing rules, which makes it quick to learn. Resorts add variants such as Tiger Baccarat and Dragon Tiger.
Blackjack, Roulette and Sic Bo
Blackjack, known locally as xì dách, rewards a hand that beats the dealer without going over 21. Roulette, or cò quay, offers bets on a single number, a colour or a group of numbers. Sic bo is a dice game built around big and small bets.
Real Money Online Casino Sites in Vietnam
Casino business in Vietnam is governed by Decree 03/2017/ND-CP, issued on 16 January 2017 and in force from 15 March 2017. It covers land based casinos inside approved tourism and integrated resort projects, and there is no licence for online casinos. Offshore online casinos are not licensed in Vietnam. The only lawful remote gambling product for players in Vietnam is the Vietlott range sold by phone through Vietlott SMS.
Resolution 08/2025/NQ-CP also sets a five year pilot at Van Don that starts once that casino receives its business certificate. The Ministry of Finance has also published a draft decree to replace Decree 03/2017. It would drop the income test and raise entry tickets to VND 2.5 million per 24 hours or VND 50 million per month. At our last check we could not confirm that it had been adopted, so the current fees still apply.

Hoiana, owned by Hoi An South Development, pairs its casino with golf and beach hotels near Hoi An. Bring the original passport or ID card for registration. Vietnamese guests also need their income documents as originals or notarised copies.

Responsible Gambling at Vietnam Casinos and Lottery
Vietnam builds most of its player protection into the entry rules. Vietnamese casino guests must be 21 or older and pass an income test, and a close family member such as a parent or spouse can ask a casino in writing not to admit them. Lottery tickets may not be sold to anyone under 18. The Grand Ho Tram also offers voluntary self-exclusion.
We could not find a national gambling helpline in Vietnam. Gambling Therapy offers free online support in many languages, available to players anywhere.
Play responsibly. You must be 18 or older to buy Vietlott tickets, 21 or older to bet under Decree 06/2017, and 21 or older to enter a casino as a Vietnamese citizen. Set a budget before you play and stop when you reach it.
Free, confidential help is available from Gambling Therapy, which offers online chat and support groups. The Ministry of Finance oversees lottery, betting and casino business in Vietnam and publishes the rules on its website.
Taxes on Casino and Lottery Winnings in Vietnam
Lottery prizes in Vietnam are subject to personal income tax at 10%. Under the Personal Income Tax Law 109/2025/QH15, which took effect on 1 July 2026, the tax applies to the part of each prize above VND 20 million. Before that date the threshold was VND 10 million. The tax is worked out per win, so a prize of VND 50 million now carries VND 3 million in tax, and it is deducted before the money is paid.
