Sands China said it welcomes Beijing’s Master Plan of the Development of the Guangdong-Macao Intensive Cooperation Zone in Hengqin as an important initiative for regional development.
The Master Plan seeks to create a favourable environment for Macao’s industrial diversification, while providing fresh impetus for Macao’s long-term development.
“As a company rooted in Macao for more than 17 years, Sands China is privileged to be making contributions to the economic diversification of Macao and the development of the city into a world centre of tourism and leisure – with the support of the central government and the Macao SAR government.”
“Sands China is fully committed to supporting the Master Plan, and will continue to contribute to the economic diversification and long-term prosperity of Macao for its integration into the overall national development plan as the city begins a new chapter in its development journey.”
