Asian gaming giants with strong showing on Forbes 2023 billionaires list

Forbes’ billionaire list featured 14 Asian-gaming-linked figures this year, most tied to Macau casinos. Topping out the gaming tycoons is Miriam Adelson, widow of Las Vegas Sands founder Sheldon Adelson, with an estimated fortune of $35.7 billion.

Other Macau-linked billionaires are Galaxy’s Lui Che Woo – at number 114, with $15.2 billion, MGM China’s Pansy Ho – at number 726 with $3.8 billion, Steve Wynn – at number 897 with $3.2 billion, SJM’s Angela Leong – at 1101 with $2.7 billion, Kazuo Okada – at 1999 with $1.4 billion and Melco’s Lawrence Ho – at 2095 with $1.3 billion.

Other Asian gaming-linked billionaires included on the list are Bloomberry’s Enrique Razon Jr – at number 300, with $7.4 billion, NagaCorp’s Chen Lip Keong – at 1077 with $2.8 billion, Genting’s Lim Kok Thay – at 1266 with $2.4 billion and Sega Sammy’s Hajime Satomi – at 2057 with $1.3 billion.
