From March 1, 2026, Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) will strengthen employee benefits by extending paid maternity leave to 90 days and expanding paid paternity leave to 7 days.
Under the new policy, female team members who have completed at least one year of continuous service before childbirth will be entitled to 90 days of paid maternity leave, an increase from the current 70 days. Male team members will also see their paid paternity leave extended from 5 days to 7 days. These enhancements aim to provide team members with more time to rest and bond with their families while welcoming their newborns during this important stage of life.
Over the years, GEG has been committed to promoting a family-friendly workplace through a variety of initiatives. For example, to support mothers returning to work while balancing family responsibilities, GEG has set up comfortable breastfeeding facilities in back-of-house areas.
In the future, GEG will continue to review and enhance employee benefits in line with Macau’s social development needs, fostering a more harmonious and supportive work culture.
