Continent 8 Technologies and FuturePath AI have launched Future8, a joint venture designed to help regulated iGaming operators deploy AI at scale while maintaining compliance, data sovereignty and operational control.

Announced at SBC Summit Lisbon, Future8 combines FuturePath’s enterprise AI applications platform with Continent 8’s licensed global operating footprint. The venture is designed to help operators move from AI experimentation to production deployment by embedding governance, approvals and auditability into workflows from the outset.

Continent 8 contributes licensed data centres, a private global network spanning more than 100 locations and AI-enabled Global Capability Centres in India, the Philippines and Bulgaria. The company also brings nearly three decades of experience supporting iGaming and online businesses, alongside operational and jurisdictional expertise.

FuturePath contributes a production enterprise AI applications platform powered by coordinated agents. The platform is already used in enterprise operations across multiple industries, including Fortune 500 environments. Through Future8, the companies are adapting those applications to the workflows, controls and regulatory requirements of licensed iGaming operators.

Governance across deployment environments

Future8 is designed to help operators address a central challenge in regulated AI adoption: deploying automation at scale while providing clear evidence of how decisions are made.

Its governance model is intended to remain consistent regardless of where a workload is deployed. Applications can run in a Continent 8 facility, a public cloud region or an operator-owned environment, allowing businesses to retain infrastructure flexibility while applying common policy and control standards across jurisdictions.

“Everyone has AI. Almost nobody can run it in a regulated market,” said Mike Small, CEO of Continent 8 Technologies. “Future8 enables operators to use AI to improve efficiency while providing the governance and auditability regulators expect across every licensed jurisdiction.”

“Our AI applications, powered by coordinated agents, already perform operational work inside Fortune 500 enterprises, with actions governed and auditable,” added Saurabh Bhatia, CEO of FuturePath AI. “Continent 8 brings decades of regulatory and operational experience. Together, we are building an AI application and accountability layer for licensed industries.”

Three delivery models

Future8 will offer operators three ways to adopt its solutions:

• AI Readiness Assessment for Regulated Industries: An evaluation of an operator’s technology estate, automation opportunities and applicable licensing conditions, followed by an executive roadmap outlining where AI can be deployed and how its use can be evidenced.

• Managed AI-Operated Services: Future8 manages operational workloads through a global delivery network, with staffing configured onshore, nearshore or offshore according to jurisdictional requirements. Operators pay for outcomes while retaining the governance and controls required for regulated operations.

• Platform Subscription: Operators deploy Future8’s AI applications in their own environments, supported by jurisdiction-specific policies, controls and evidence documentation. Deployment options include Continent 8 infrastructure, public clouds and customer-owned environments.

Future8 is built on FuturePath’s enterprise AI applications, which the companies say are already handling tens of thousands of complex workflows each month in Fortune 500 environments. The platform has also reduced resolution times by up to 40%, according to the companies.

Forward Deployed Engineers will work with operators to adapt the applications to their workflows, systems and regulatory requirements. Initial use cases will cover IT and technical operations, cloud migration, finance, procurement and player-facing operations.

Future8 will initially focus on regulated iGaming, with plans to expand into other licensed industries where governance, auditability and compliance are central to AI deployment.
