Century Entertainment appoints new non-executive director

Hong Kong-listed Century Entertainment International Holdings Ltd. has confirmed the appointment of Lester Yuen Sing Wai as an independent non-executive director, the chairman of the audit committee, and a member of the compliance committee, effective from February 1st.

Century Entertainment is a Cambodian table games operator, formerly known as a Macau junket investor. Company chairman and chief executive Ng Man Sun is a veteran of the junket business in Macau.

According to the filing, the new non-executive director, Lester Yuen, aged 35, has over 12 years of work experience in the fields of legal, accounting, and compliance (including the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, company secretarial, and listing matters).

Currently, the firm is negotiating a casino lease and operation agreement for the operation of a VIP room in Long Bay, Dara Sakor, Cambodia, with LongBay Entertainment Co., Ltd. The aim is to carry out gaming activities with the relevant gaming license provided by LongBay Entertainment Co., Ltd.
