Daily Asia Gaming eBrief: Queensland gaming sector reports strong May growth

Good Morning. Going strong. Queensland’s gaming sector recorded a 13.5% year-on-year rise in machine revenue to AU$332.7 million ($215 million) in May 2025, driven by strong performances across clubs and hotels, seasonal factors, and a slight increase in operational machines results. Meanwhile, Bloomberry Resorts has appointed Gregory Hawkins as Director, President, and Chief Operating Officer. Hawkins had taken COO responsibilities for both Solaire Entertainment City and Solaire North since December of last year.
