Macau August GGR forecast to rise 4.5% to $2.87 billion

Seaport Research expects Macau’s August GGR to reach $2.87 billion, up 4.5 percent year-on-year and 14.3 percent from July. Senior analyst Vitaly Umansky said the recovery would be supported by customers returning after postponing trips during the World Cup, which weighed particularly on premium mass and VIP visitation. Average daily GGR is projected to recover to 95 percent of the corresponding 2019 level.
