Malaysian gaming equipment supplier RGB International saw profit attributable to shareholders fall 26 percent year-on-year to MYR10.34 million ($2.57 million) in the second quarter of 2026, with changes in its product mix weighing on earnings.
Group revenue rose 15 percent to MYR109.63 million ($27.22 million) during the three months ended June 30th, according to unaudited results filed with Bursa Malaysia on Thursday.
Revenue from RGB’s Sales and Marketing division, its largest business segment, increased 20 percent to MYR93.10 million ($23.11 million), mainly due to a higher number of products sold.
However, the division’s pre-tax profit fell 21 percent to MYR11.97 million ($2.97 million), which the company attributed to ‘variation in product mix.’
The divergence was also evident at the group level. Gross profit declined 10 percent to MYR23.72 million ($5.89 million), while earnings before interest, taxation, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) fell 21 percent to MYR14.10 million ($3.50 million).
Group pre-tax profit decreased 26 percent to MYR11.92 million ($2.96 million).
RGB’s Technical Support and Management division recorded a 3 percent decline in quarterly revenue to MYR15.76 million ($3.91 million). Despite the lower revenue, the segment’s pre-tax profit increased 41 percent to MYR1.39 million ($345,000), supported by lower operating and administrative expenses.

Compared with the first quarter, RGB’s group revenue increased 25 percent, while pre-tax profit rose 12 percent. The Sales and Marketing division benefited from higher product volumes, although weaker performance at several Technical Support and Management outlets weighed on that segment.
For the first half of 2026, group revenue rose 17 percent to MYR197.01 million ($48.91 million), while profit attributable to shareholders declined 27 percent to MYR19.40 million ($4.82 million).
The company said first-half revenue from Technical Support and Management operations fell 17 percent due to weaker performance at several key outlets and the continued closure of certain outlets in Cambodia’s Poipet region since early June 2025.
RGB said it remained ‘cautiously optimistic’ about its prospects for 2026, while noting that regulatory developments, economic conditions, consumer spending and tourism trends could affect its principal markets.
The supplier said it would continue pursuing expansion opportunities, operational improvements and potential new projects in the Philippines, Cambodia and Vietnam.
RGB also approved a second interim dividend of MYR0.003 per share, payable on October 16th.
