Brightstar Lottery and Scientific Games jointly announced the establishment of SP Loterias SPE S.A. (“SPL”) and the signing of a 15‑year concession agreement with the Government of São Paulo State, Brazil, to operate its newly created lottery.
The 15‑year agreement grants SPL an exclusive state license to operate lottery products in São Paulo, including draw‑based, instant, eInstant, and passive games offered through both retail and digital channels, with proceeds supporting healthcare investments throughout the state.
Together, Brightstar and Scientific Games will provide technology to power an omnichannel play experience, each offering content across retail and digital channels to deliver a seamless player journey.
