Singapore pledges to step up vaccinations, open to tourism

Singapore’s Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong has pledged that every adult who wants a vaccination will be able to have had one by early August and the island nation may begin to ease restrictions from June 13.

In an address to the nation, the prime minister pledged Singapore would not be left behind as developed economies reopen and held out the prospect that tourists will be able to visit.
