Covid cases in Marina Bay Sands cluster rise to 34

The number of positive cases related to a Covid outbreak at Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands has risen to 34.

The Ministry of Health said on Monday that a further two cases had been found.

The property, which is owned by Las Vegas Sands, announced it was closing casino operations for at least two weeks from July 22 after Covid cases were discovered.
