RGB Macau to sell almost 2,000 EGMs to PAGCOR

Malaysian casino equipment supplier and distributor RGB International Bhd (RGB) has announced that its Macau wholly-owned subsidiary received an order for almost 2,000 electronic gaming machines (EGMs) from the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR).

The contract signed on May 27th, 2024 with RGB (Macau) Limited involves the procurement, supply, and delivery of slot machine equipment for Casino Filipino branches under ITB No. DC24-03-001COR.

The total value of the contract is $81.3 million and includes the supply of 1,968 electronic gaming machines (EGMs) and related accessories, such as LED signage and displays.

Additionally, services under this project will encompass logistics arrangements, installation of EGMs, signage, and displays, as well as engineering technical and product training.

The EGM brand and quantity breakdown includes 888 units of Light & Wonder, 888 units of Aristocrat, 150 units of Konami, and 42 units of KL Saberi.

RGB considered that the project is expected to positively impact its earnings and net assets per share for the financial year ending December 31st, 2024.

‘Potential risks associated with the project include product availability from various manufacturers and fluctuations in currency exchange rates,’ the group added.

RGB International Bhd has reported a significant increase in revenue and profit for the first quarter of 2024, driven by promising market conditions and strategic positioning in the Philippines.
