The NUSTAR Resort & Casino officially launched its online sports betting platform, NUSTAR Sports Max, on Tuesday.
According to information shared on the website, NUSTAR Sports Max is powered by Jade Sportsbet, a platform crafted by gaming service provider Jade Entertainment.
In 2021, Jade Entertainment secured approval from PAGCOR to launch its online gaming platform for players in the Philippines.
The online platform showcases that NUSTAR Sports Max “boasts a user-friendly interface for a seamless betting experience.”
NUSTAR, owned by Universal Hotels & Resorts, stands as the first integrated resort on Cebu Island in the Philippines, having opened its doors just last year.
The resort features three hotel towers. Tower 1 is ultra high-end, while Tower 2 offers a five-star experience, and Tower 3 caters to the MICE market. Additionally, it includes a commercial and retail center that introduces luxury retail and dining options, a first for Cebu.
Cebu is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Philippines. In 2019, it ranked second to Manila in terms of direct foreign arrivals by air, accounting for 20 percent of total arrivals. The city is also among the most visited in the Philippines, according to the Department of Tourism.
