Pacific Online Systems Corporation, a Philippine operator of the Lotto, has announced a 40 percent increase in revenue during the first three quarters, topping PHP358.1 million ($6.4 million).
The group notes the increase was ‘mainly because of the increase in Lotto sales driven by the more open economy in 2023, the high jackpot prizes for the Lotto games, and in the increase in the number of selling terminals for the period, especially in Luzon’.
The group notes that during the period it was also able to ‘recognize and collect rent deficiency claims from its KENO operations’.
Operating income more than doubled on a yearly basis, to PHP218.4 million ($3.9 million), while net income was up 79 percent yearly, to PHP228.24 million ($4.08 million).
