Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. (PAGCOR) Chair Andrea Domingo said two operators have been granted permission to begin e-sabong operations this month after fully paying their license fees.
Online betting on cockfighting, which is hugely popular in the Philippines, is being permitted in an attempt to raise revenues after the impact of the Covid pandemic. Domingo also said three integrated resorts in Manila – Okada Manila, Resorts World Manila and Solaire Resorts – have also been given permission to accept online bets.
