Melco Resorts gives paid leave for staff to help children, elderly to get vaccinated

Macau casino operator Melco Resorts has announced it is giving up to three days of special paid leave for its staff to accompany their children or elderly parents to get vaccinated.

“The health and safety of our Colleagues, community and customers are of paramount priority. To encourage the vaccination of children and elderly parents of our Colleagues, we will be giving paid special days off for our Colleagues to accompany their children and elderly parents to get vaccinated,” said Lawrence Ho, chairman and CEO of Melco.

The initiative is on top of the company’s “Get the Jab” program, which includes lucky draws for fully-vaccinated staff, and other prize money incentives for staff and educational outreach sessions.
