Melco Resorts & Entertainment said its Get the Jab vaccination incentive program for colleagues in Macau and Hong Kong has helped increase the overall employee vaccination rate to almost 65 percent.

Between July 26-30, Melco hosted its second onsite outreach vaccination session in coordination with Macau Health Bureau at Studio City Event Center, at which colleagues, family and friends were provided with vaccines to protect against COVID-19.

Earlier, Melco hosted its first series of lucky draws for colleagues from City of Dreams, Studio City, Altira Macau and Mocha Clubs. Four lucky colleague winners inoculated through the Company’s on-site outreach vaccination were awarded a collective cash prize total of half a million MOP.

To encourage colleagues to participate in on-site outreach vaccination sessions, the Company launched cash prize drawings for colleagues from its Macau properties, including three MOP 100,000 prizes and a grand prize of MOP 200,000. With the first target vaccination rate being reached, the first million lucky draw is scheduled for next week.

Subject to applicable terms and conditions, all fully vaccinated colleagues from Melco’s Macau properties and Hong Kong corporate offices are eligible for entry to the incentive lucky draw. Further incentives include the Keep the Momentum Lucky Draws, which have, to date, offered 25 lucky Melco colleagues attractive cash awards, coupons and prizes.

Other initiatives incentivizing colleagues to become inoculated include MOP 1,000 prize money for each fully vaccinated Melco colleague. In addition, shuttle transportation to attend vaccination appointments are provided, together with two full days of paid vaccine leave. Also, in coordination with the Macau Health Bureau and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the Company continues to provide colleagues with education seminars and vaccination outreach sessions.
