Wynn Macau has officially opened the Blanc de Vie Medical Center, the ‘first Korean medical center located within a resort hotel’ in the city.
According to the operator, the center in its Cotai Wynn Palace property aims to bring advanced medical aesthetic services and chronic disease management to the region, aligning with the SAR’s Government’s “1+4” economic diversification strategy.
Macau authorities plan to develop what it calls its “big health industry,” a blanket term that includes medical services and health tourism alongside Traditional Chinese Medicine, as part of its efforts to diversify the city’s economy away from gaming.
Wynn hopes to attract new tourist markets and support cross-sector integration under the “Tourism+” initiative, enhancing the local health industry and positioning Macau as a medical tourism destination.
Blanc de Vie, based in Seoul, is recognized as a leading dermatology institution in South Korea. The clinic has participated in numerous domestic and international conferences, gaining a reputation for its medical expertise and quality services.
‘Wynn is focused on promoting the development of the big health industry in Macau. The organization has hosted seminars on health topics and has enhanced its fitness services, including the introduction of Macau’s first in-spa health and wellness center’, the concessionaire added.
‘These efforts aim to meet the diverse needs of guests and expand healthcare options in the region,’ indicated the operator.
