Galaxy Macau has rolled out an upgraded “Tourism and Leisure Buses 2.0” programme, expanding routes, schedules, and holiday coverage to drive visitor traffic into Macau’s traditional neighbourhoods and support local SMEs.
The initiative aligns with the Macao SAR Government’s visitor dispersal strategy, aiming to strengthen community tourism while unlocking broader economic benefits beyond core resort zones.
Running through January 3, 2027, the enhanced service operates on weekends, with additional Friday routes during peak summer months and special services across National Day, Christmas, and New Year. Four new routes connect major tourism hotspots with heritage districts, combining improved accessibility with curated cultural experiences and promotional offers designed to deepen visitor engagement.
Galaxy Macau has also introduced additional stops across its shuttle network, linking key sites such as the Macao Grand Prix Museum, Kun Iam Ecumenical Centre, A-Ma Temple, and the Nam Van waterfront. New access points in areas including ZAPE, NAPE, Barra, Iao Hon, and San Ma Lou bring visitors closer to traditional commercial hubs, local dining spots, and community الحياة.
By extending connectivity to districts such as Patane, Three Lampposts, and Hong Kung Temple, the programme highlights Macau’s cultural diversity while encouraging spending in neighbourhood businesses. The initiative positions Galaxy Macau as an active partner in sustainable tourism development, supporting a more balanced distribution of visitor flows and a stronger local economic impact.
