Macau operators each donate MOP10m for China flood relief

Macau’s six operators have now all pledged MOP10 million ($1.25 million) each to help the victims of flooding in Henan province.

The donations were made in coordination with the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in Macau, to aid the city of Zhengzhou’s flood relief efforts and to support its post-disaster restoration.

Dr. Lui Che-woo, Chairman of Galaxy Entertainment said: “Henan Province has been heavily hit by extremely heavy rainfall, with precipitation being most severe in its provincial capital Zhengzhou. As a Chinese, I feel that ‘blood is thicker than water’, and am deeply saddened by the casualties and property losses caused by the flood.
