The Macau government is now requiring all individuals travelling out of Macau via an outbound civil aircraft or vessel to present proof of a negative Covid-19 test at least 48 hours prior to departure.

Those who fail to present a valid negative Covid test would not be allowed to board, whilst those found contravening the measures will be subject to mandatory isolation in addition to criminal charges in accordance with the law.

The announcement was made on the government information bureau at 5 pm on Tuesday 19th October and is effective from 12:00 of the same day.
