SJM Holdings Ambrose So told a Hong Kong newspaper that the company is in negotiations to operate a casino at the Lisboeta, a new property on the Cotai Strip.
The company has also revealed plans that it will be taking over the operation of Casino Diamond, a satellite casino under the group, which had announced it would be shutting down at the end of this month due to financial hardship over the pandemic.
The hotel held a partial opening on July 17, revealing attractions such as indoor skydiving and ziplining. It is situated next door to SJM’s Grand Lisboa Palace, which is scheduled to open in coming months.
