The Macau government released information on Friday regarding the personnel responsible for key projects in economic diversification. The aim is to facilitate and promptly promote the execution of the economic diversification plan.
The Macau government has outlined detailed tasks to achieve the goals of economic diversification. According to AGB checks, there are eight main segments with a total of 215 subtasks to be followed.
These main segments include tourism, sports, culture, commerce, MICE, big health, modern finance, and high technology. The majority of the tasks fall under the responsibility of the Secretaries of Cultural Affairs and Economics and Finance. Economic diversification has become the focal point of Macau’s development in recent years.
Currently, the majority of the respective burden rests on Macau gaming operators, as all six gaming operators are committed to investing heavily in non-gaming sectors.
