Macau gaming operator MGM China will implement a salary increase for 99 percent of its workforce starting March 23rd, the company announced Thursday, citing employee dedication and contributions.
Eligible staff will receive a 2 percent pay rise, while those earning MOP16,000 ($1,991) or less per month will be granted a fixed adjustment of MOP500 ($62), representing an increase of between 2 and 4.5 percent.
“MGM extends its heartfelt appreciation to our dedicated team,” said Chairperson and Executive Director Pansy Ho. “As we step into a new year, the ‘15th Five-Year Plan’ is set to launch, bringing new development opportunities for Macau.”
The executive reaffirmed the company’s commitment to supporting national and SAR government policies, adding that MGM aims to “inject fresh momentum into Macau and build a brighter future together.”
The announcement comes amid broader efforts to boost employee morale and align corporate strategy with Macau’s evolving economic landscape.
