Macau government may collect biometric data on visitors

Macau’s Secretary for Administration and Justice André Cheong Weng Chon, who is also the spokesman for the government’s top advisory Executive Council, has announced that the government has finished drafting new immigration, stay, and residency bill, which proposes the collection and verification of visitors’ biometric data by Macau’s law enforcement agencies.
